Camera Man -

Short animation for assignment 2 of 15-465 Animation Art and Technology, Spring 2013, at Carnegie Mellon University. In this animation, a camera walks over to a spotlight and pokes it. This animation tasked us with making a character of our own design, rigging it, and creating a walk cycle. Everything in this animation was done by hand by me. The camera was modeled from a Sony EX-3 reference and the spotlight was reused from Assignment 1.

Light Snack -

Short animation for the first assignment in 15-465 Animation Art and Technology, Spring 2013, at Carnegie Mellon University. In this animation, a spotlight is surprised when an ice cream cone falls on the table in front of it. The assignment had us model a character and animate it with some basic deformations. I modeled the light off of ETC's Source Four ellipsoidal theatrical fixture, using their technical drawings of the fixture for reference.

Project consisted of 6 people, I designed the game and did the majority of the programming. Written using Microsoft's XNA 4.0 platform and ported to Mac with MonoGame. Bleatbeater -

Unity3D project done with the Carnegie Mellon Game Creation Society. A game where you punch sheep because you are an angry Scottish shepherd. I joined looking to experiment more with Unity's shading and lighting system. Ended up creating a 8-tone toon mapping look with the Unity default toon shader. Hacked that shader to work with the terrain map in Unity and experimented with lightmapping, but due to some repository problems it didn't quite makte it in to the release build.
